Delivery Information & Policy 

The Wicker Man uses a network of trusted Independent Contractors to deliver furniture Australia wide. We can accommodate many types of delivery service depending on the service level, location and situation of your property, and type and quantity of furniture required.

Standard Delivery

We offer a Standard Door to Door Service which does not include unpacking, assembly or removal of packaging materials. 

Your product(s) will be delivered within 7 - 28 days*, Our friendly staff will be in contact to notify you of an expected delivery date. If the product(s) delivered to you do not reflect what you ordered or includes incorrect products, please let us know in writing, within 72 Hours from the time of delivery and we will correct the order. Notification outside this time voids the return policy.  The Wicker Man will replace your order (to the same purchase value) or resend the product(s) at its discretion and subject to the following terms & conditions.

Public holidays & Weekends

If you have placed your order on a public holiday or weekend, your order will be immediately processed the next following business day.

As with most courier services our contractors do not operate on weekends or public holidays, we kindly ask you to be patient and be prepared for delays.


Holiday Season is a particularly busy period for everyone.. We recommend in order to ensure you receive your items before the holiday season, to pre-order at least 3 weeks in advance to avoid delays or low stock levels during this period.


Super sales and Promotions

Although we endeavor to have all orders processed within 48hours, Unfortunately during major sales and promotional periods we appreciate your patience as this is an extremely busy period.

In some cases we may have to order more stock to fulfill orders so please allow more time for your order to be shipped during this time. also we may have to send orders in parts or separate lots depending on size of the order, stock availability.

Important Note:
We use independent contractor removalists not couriers. Our goods are heavy and bulky and require expert removalists to ensure that your goods arrived to you in showroom condition. This means that while we can ensure the quality of your goods upon receipt - delivery times and schedules offered by our contractors are not as flexible as those offered by a courier service. We appreciate your patience and flexibility in coordinating your delivery.


In order for goods to be dispatched from our warehouse, you must ensure:

  • Payment for the balance of goods and delivery charges have been made and funds have been cleared into our account at least one week prior to the delivery date;
  • Contact details given are correct and up to date;
  • There is adequate space for the delivery of goods and entry to the property is safe and easily accessible so that our contractors may unload your items in a safe and orderly fashion;The recipient of goods, whether they are the purchaser or a nominated person the age of 18 years or over, has sufficient photo ID and is present at the time of delivery.

Return Policy

If incorrect products have been sent to you; You must notify us of the error within 72 hours of delivery. If your claim is approved you will receive a Returns Authorization Number (RA#) and an RA form which must be attached to the item. We will arrange the incorrect goods to be returned to us at no charge. You must re-pack the product in its original packaging, or if no longer available, in shrink wrap or the like, suitable to be shipped. The correct goods will be dispatched immediately with no additional shipping charges incurred by the buyer. We reserve the right to charge a fee or replacement cost if returned products are damaged, have been used, or are not in a resalable condition. Please note that any items returned without an RA form attached will be rejected and sent back to the buyer. You are required to pay any charges if you have ordered the incorrect products and ship the products back to The Wicker Man The Wicker Man takes no responsibility in such circumstances.

If products are faulty or damaged when they arrive; You must notify us 72 hours of delivery by email at, Photos of the item may be requested so please take them the moment you identify a fault or concern.

If you believe you have been incorrectly invoiced; You must notify The Wicker Man immediately. Please be advised that claims lodged after 30 days from the date on your invoice will NOT be accepted under any circumstances.

Returns/Exchanges; The Wicker Man does not offer refunds for customers who change their mind. “Exchanges” are available within 72 hours of purchase, however, these will incur a pickup/ delivery fee. There are strictly NO exchanges or returns on sale items.

Refunds & Returns Policy

The following only applies if you are a deemed "consumer" under the Australian Consumer Law and may not apply in your particular case. In telling you the following, we do not vary or extend the remedies otherwise available to you.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure

Wicker furniture manufactured with a consumer grade aluminium frame (the "product") sold by The Wicker Man subject to the following limited Warranties:

Frames are warranted to be free from defects in Materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year.
Damage to frames or welds due to improper assembly or exposure to water and sub-freezing temperatures is not covered under this limited warranty.
Therefore, you should not allow water to accumulate inside frames.

PE Wicker
This PE Wicker Warranty is subject to the Product being cared for in accordance with the relevant care instructions on our website.
Scratches and chips resulting from normal wear and tear on the wicker weave are not covered under this limited warranty.
PE wicker weave is not covered if removed by object or misuse of persons from where it has been stapled.
Fading or discoloration of the wicker as a result of exposure to sunlight or other natural elements, oils, spills, fluids or chemicals and cleaning products is not covered under this limited warranty.
PE Wicker may fade exposing it to the sun, extreme heat or bright light. PE wicker may stretch over time with use and is considered fair wear and tear under Australian consumer law.
We recommend your purchase a weather cover to protect your outdoor setting we stock weather covers for all sets.

Cushions fabric, foam and suspension components will show signs of wear and tear with use. Normal ware and tear is not covered by warranty.
Fading or discoloration of the cushions resulting from exposure to sunlight or other natural elements, oils, spills, fluids or chemicals and cleaning products is not covered under this limited warranty.
Foam and fillings may soften and form to the shape of the user over time. Fading is considered fair wear and tear under Australian consumer law.
We recommend your purchase a weather cover to protect your outdoor setting we stock weather covers for all sets.

All product glass is checked before delivered or pick up it's the receivers responsibility to check glass if it has been delivered by a third party upon arrival to the invoice address and advise the freight driver.
The glass used in all outdoor furniture is tempered glass. Although it is tougher than normal glass, it is not unbreakable. Tempered glass should receive the same care as normal glass to avoid scratches items should not be dragged on the glass.
Careless handling or misuse sometimes produces damage which may not be immediately visible to the naked eye. Avoid dropping objects on the glass, which may weaken it.
Damaged glass may spontaneously shatter if later subject to the thermal heat or mechanical stress. Tables should not be dragged at any time to avoid damage to legs and glass breakage.

Warranty Exclusions
The following are not covered under the limited warranties set forth above: products used for commercial, contract or any other non-resident purposes; products which are clearance items, display models otherwise purchased on an "as is" basis, damage to the product incurred during shipping; products damaged by acts of nature, vandalism, fire, abuse, lack of proper care and maintenance, or improper assembly; fading or discoloration of the product or any of its components resulting from exposure to sunlight or other natural elements, soils, spills, fluids or chemicals; table top against breakage; resulting from exposure to water and freezing temperatures.

The limited warranties set forth herein are only made in favour of the original purchaser of the product and only if the product is purchased from one of our authorized retailers. The limited warranties with aspect to the product set forth herein are not transferable. All warranty claims must be submitted with a dated receipt within the warranty period, directly to the authorized retailer where the merchandise was purchased. The wicker man does not administrate warranty claims directly with the original purchaser. For quality control purposes and verification, The wicker man reserves the right to request photographs of the damage item(s).

If a product manufactured by The wicker man fails under the terms of our limited warranty set forth above. The wicker man will replace the item at no charge. Where the exact product is no longer available, The Wicker Man reserves the right to substitute a similar item.

The wicker man makes no implied warranties of merchant-ability or fitness for a particular purpose or any other warranties, express of implied, expect as otherwise set forth above. Under no circumstances shall The Wicker Man be liable for incidental or consequential losses, damages or expenses, directly or indirectly arising from the sale, handling or use of the product.

The terms of this limited warranty are subject to change without notice.

Any repair or replacement under this warranty is limited to the defective part only.
Except in cases of major failure, this warranty does not include freight costs.
